Q:  I recently had my hair chemically relaxed.  I usually have really thick, curly hair, so I’m not used to the new texture.  What products do you recommend to keep my hair looking sleek and straight?

A:  All you really need is a good daily shampoo/conditioner and a dependable flat iron!  We recommend that you use specialty shampoo that are designed for chemically relaxed hair, like the new Keratin Care Shampoo and Keratin Care Conditioner by Peter Coppola.  Because your hair is naturally curly, you’re going to need a flat iron that gets up to 450 degrees to keep your hair straight.  We like the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Flat Iron.  The extra long, 1½” wide plates are ideal for long, coarse hair.
