If you want your hair to feel super soft, you need to look for ingredients that are neither too heavy or too light.  You want to look for a product that contains natural oils, like avocado oil, aloe vera, ceramides, proteins, milk proteins and vitamin E.  Remember, always take your hair type into consideration when shopping for products.  Heavy conditioners contain thick, emollient-rich ingredients that can leave fine and limp hair weighed down.

I Want Smoother Curls Without Frizz!

If you have curly hair, then you know all about Frizz.  Smoothing Shampoos are good for frizzy hair types, but they may not work as well if your hair is extremely thick.  Look for a product with smoothing ingredients like glycerin, essential fatty acids, silicone, aloe vera, vitamin E, resins and gums to tame frizz, and calcium and magnesium to fuse the protein chain together to lift and define curls.

Avoid ingredients such as alcohol.

I Want Volume At My Roots!

Volumizing Shampoo And Conditioner are best for normal hair when looking for more volume at your roots.  Some of these products may strip your hair color, so you may want to stay with “sulfate-free shampoos” which help hair keep it’s color.

Ingredients to use: Proteins like wheat, starches like rice extract and corn, polymers like anionic polymers and peppermint extract.

Avoid:  Oils, waxes and anything with too much silicone which would weigh hair down.
